Indian Army foils major infiltration bid in J&K, 1 terrorist neutralised

Poonch (J&K), Aug 07 (ANI): Indian Army and J&K Police, in a joint operation, foiled a major infiltration bid in Poonch on Aug 07. The infiltration bid was foiled along the LoC in the general area of Degwar Terwan in Poonch. As per PRO (Defence) Jammu, during the operation, one terrorist was neutralized and other was seen falling down after being shot near LoC. However, there is no confirmation regarding the death of the other terrorist. Security forces have intensified search operations to track down terrorists in the region. Earlier, after observing suspicious movement of terrorists across LoC, Indian Army jumped into action. Indian Army continues to remain alert on the Line of Control and is fully prepared to thwart such attempts in future too.
