Indian Army commemorates 53rd anniversary of Battle of Phuklian (Chenab) Enclave in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 06 (ANI): A series of events concluded in Jammu to commemorate the Battle of Phulkian (Chenab) Enclave. It was organised by troops of Chenab Brigade to mark the 53rd anniversary of the historic victory of the Indian Army in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The celebrations kicked off with a motorcycle rally. This rally aimed to enlighten the youth about the heroic exploits of the Indian Army. The enthusiastic bikers of the Chenab Brigade also organised a movie screening and interaction with the locals of the border village. The celebrations included with a cricket match with locals and painting competition at various schools. Chenab Brigade’s commemoration of the Battle of Phuklian (Chenab) Enclave serves as a tribute to the heroes of the Indian Army and reinforces the nation's gratitude for their bravery and sacrifice.
