IGNCA hosts Art Exhibition from Abhay K’s private collection to mark Russia Day

New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): In the heart of India’s capital New Delhi, an art exhibition showcasing the contemporary artworks of eminent Russian artists has been organized at the Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts (IGNCA) to mark Russia Day. The event displays 101 paintings of 66 Russian artists from the private collection of Indian poet and diplomat Abhay K. who acquired these artworks during his sojourn in Russia from 2005 to 2010. The event was attended by many distinguished figures, including Roman Babushkin, Minister-Counsellor, DCM and Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA, and other dignitaries. The art exhibition showcasing the creative diversity of Russia aims to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries. The weeklong event will remain open for public view till the 18th of June and will be accessible to anyone who has a love for art.
