The event also showcased fire-fighting capabilities of ICG ships at sea and aerial replenishment exercises by helicopters. Thrilled by the experience one of the guests called it a ‘mesmerizing experience’ while another found it ‘inspiring’. Raised in 1978 from humble beginning of only 2 ships, ICG is celebrating its 48th Raising Day this year with more than 150 Ships and about 78 aircraft.
