Ahmedabad, Gujarat Ahmedabad is set to take a major leap in urban sanitation with its latest initiative - a state-of-the-art toilet infrastructure project - worth approximately ₹20 crore. These new facilities will redefine public hygiene, offering modern amenities such as aspirational toilet sensors, special provisions for disabled children, changing rooms for kids and primary medical equipment. Ahmedabad has already set benchmarks in sanitation with its existing network of 333 pay-and-use toilets. [GFX Around 150 public toilets, 50 smart toilets, and 15 dedicated Pink Toilets. These facilities cater to different demographics, ensuring that public hygiene remains a priority.
