Huma Qureshi enthralls audience with her first ramp walk in Kashmir

Srinagar, September 13 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a grand fashion show in Srinagar, with Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi walking the ramp in a golden ensemble. She enthralled her fans and overall audience during her first professional fashion show in Kashmir. Organized by renowned fashion designer Varun Bahal, the event was in collaboration with the Federation of India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) Women’s Wing. The Ladies Wing comprised over 130 females from Hyderabad who were on a Kashmir tour to enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley and spend some memorable time in Lalit Grand Palace where the show was organised during night time. In the show, almost seventy-five models both male and female including locals participated. The models walked the ramp for hours displaying the artwork of the designer while mesmerizing the audience. The objective of the event was to promote the classic designs of the ace designer and highlight the importance of the beauty of Kashmir. Events like this will help boost the tourists' footfall at large and give a push to the economy of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing the event, the organiser of the show, the ace fashion designer Varun Bahal said that in the past all Bollywood movies were considered incomplete without Kashmir. Such types of mega shows will also attract more Bollywood film crews to shoot their films in the Valley which is also known as the photographers’ paradise. This is first the professional fashion show that has happened in Kashmir after thirty-nine years here in Grand Lalit and we enjoy the natural beauty of this paradise.”
