‘Huge significance’! Over 118 contracts signed, Navy Chief Admiral Hari Kumar at MSME Defence Expo

Pune (Maharashtra), Feb 26 (ANI): Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar attended the closing ceremony of the Maharashtra MSME Defense Expo on February 26 in Pune. He interacted with the officials of the MSME Defense Expo and inspected the defense equipment. Speaking to ANI, Navy Chief informed that over 118 contracts have been signed and around 10-12 products have also been approved in Maharashtra MSME Defence Expo. “This is a unique exhibition. They have been able to bring together several MSMEs...It is very important that we develop the ecosystem and environment for indigenisation. Defence Expos facilitate this and encourage indigenous production... MSME Expos like this have a huge significance. Over 118 contracts have been signed and around 10-12 products have also been approved. There are a lot of things we are getting from the MSMEs and startups,” he added.
