Mandi (HP), August 14 (ANI): Beas River was flowing in full spate on August 14 in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh as downpours continued. The regional weather department has said that moderate to heavy rainfall will be witnessed in most places in HP. Meanwhile, state disaster management authorities have also issued a public appeal urging citizens to share information about any untoward incident and for people to come together and extend help to those affected by the havoc created by rainfall. Incessant rains in Himachal Pradesh over the past 24 hours have triggered landslides, blocking several roads, including the Shimla-Chandigarh highway which was closed for buses and trucks.
