Jalandhar (Punjab), October 07 (ANI): Indian Air Force’s MiG-29 UPG fighter jets from 28 squadrons returned after participating in 'Exercise BRIGHT STAR-23'. ‘Exercise BRIGHT STAR- 23’ is a multinational tri-services joint military exercise led by US CENTCOM and Egyptian Army. 34 countries participated in Exercise BRIGHT STAR- 23 this year. Indian Army contingent comprising 137 personnel participated in the ‘Exercise BRIGHT STAR- 23’. The exercise provided a unique opportunity for the Indian Army to enhance defence cooperation and to share best practices. Group Captain P Jha also shared how the display of prowess by IAF in Egyptian skies left the latter “thrilled”. Notably, this is the first time the Indian Armed Forces participated in the multinational joint military exercise.
