A high-level consultation on “Religious Freedom in South Asia” was jointly organised by IPAC and Shivi Development Society at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event, inaugurated by SDS Executive Director Narendra Kumar, brought together policymakers, scholars and civil society leaders to discuss challenges faced by religious minorities across the region. The consultation also saw the release of the comparative report “Religious Freedom in South Asia,” highlighting institutional gaps and the need for stronger constitutional safeguards, especially in neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh.
