Anantnag (J&K), March 06, (ANI): The Horticulture Department in Anantnag district of South Kashmir organised a comprehensive training and awareness camp for local farmers under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme. This initiative aimed to equip farmers with essential knowledge and skills to improve crop yield and promote sustainable agricultural practices. Covering various aspects of horticulture, including cultivation techniques, pest management, and modern farming methods, the training provided practical insights to participants. Additionally, the department distributed different fruit tree varieties to support growers, aligning to foster diversified agricultural practices.
