Ahmedabad (Gujarat), October 03, (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development projects in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on October 3. During the event, he announced that projects worth an estimated ₹446 crores would be launched and completed, marking significant progress in the region's development. Gujarat CM was also present there at the event. S In his address, Shah highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to spreading the importance of cleanliness across the nation. "After Gandhiji, PM Narendra Modi is the second national leader to emphasize the basic need for cleanliness," Shah remarked. Shah also noted that Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency had received ₹37,000 crore in development works over the last five years. He praised the transformative impact of smart schools, saying they have not only boosted knowledge but also instilled confidence in children from poor and middle-class families. "The improvement in school education standards," Shah said, "is helping in the great national service of building personalities."
