New Delhi, March 13 (ANI): In a major boost to the semiconductor industry, PM Modi laid foundation stones of 3 semiconductor facilities. Out of the three new chip plants, two will be set up in Gujarat and one will be set up in Assam. Notably, out of the three plants two are being set up by the Tata Group and one by CG Power. PM Narendra Modi participated in the ‘India’s Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat’ programme. The three semiconductor facilities are worth around Rs 1.25 lakh crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed it a strong step ahead toward India’s bright future.
