Ahmedabad, Gujarat, May (ANI): Gujarat is emerging as a UPSC powerhouse, thanks to the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Ahmedabad. Offering free coaching to economically weaker aspirants, SPIPA helped 26 candidates clear the 2024 exam, taking its total success count to 311. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel felicitated the achievers, underscoring the state’s growing stature in civil services. Earlier, aspirants migrated to metros like Delhi, but SPIPA’s quality training now bridges the gap at home. Rural and urban candidates now compete on equal footing. In 2023, 25 cleared the exam, including five women, three of whom ranked in the top 100—highlighting diversity and determination. Gujarat is redefining UPSC prep and could become a national model.
