The historic Bhavnath Fair commenced with grandeur on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri in Junagadh, Gujarat. Popularly known as the “Mini Kumbh,” the fair has transformed the entire Girnar region into a spiritually charged landscape resonating with chants of “Bam Bam Bhole” and “Har Har Mahadev.” The fair was formally inaugurated at 9 a.m. with the hoisting of the ceremonial flag at the Bhavnath Temple, followed by traditional rituals and worship. The presence of Naga sadhus, saints, ascetics, and thousands of devotees has added to the vibrant display of Sanatan traditions and devotion. Organised by the Gujarat government, the five-day fair is expected to witness a massive influx of pilgrims from across the country.
