On World Forest Day, Gujarat exemplifies environmental conservation through large-scale afforestation and green policies. Under CM Bhupendra Patel's leadership, projects like the Green Ambaji Project near Gabbar Hill, using the Miyawaki technique, have transformed barren lands into lush forests. The Green Gujarat Mission (2022) aims to generate 500,000 green jobs by 2030. Additionally, GIDC promotes green manufacturing and sustainable urban planning. Guided by ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas, Sauno Prayas’, Gujarat integrates afforestation, policy reforms, and public participation to combat climate change.
