Gujarat: PM Modi set to inaugurate PM MITRA Park in Navsari to boost textile sector

Navsari (Gujarat), Feb 18 (ANI): Inspired by the 5F vision of the Prime Minister - Farm to Fibre to Fabric to Fashion to Foreign, Gujarat is setting up PM MITRA Park in Navsari, Gujarat after receiving formal approval from the Government of India. The PM MITRA PARK will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 22.Gujarat is known as the textile hub of India. The state is also well-known for its business-friendly environment and investment-supportive initiatives. It has various fine-tuned policies to promote sectoral growth. To promote the eco-system in the textile sector, various incentives like interest subsidy, concession in power tariff, technology upgradation, and many others are provided under the Gujarat Textile Policy, 2019. Moreover, the textile sector has been identified as a “thrust sector” under the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme 2022, which provides additional lucrative benefits to industrialists.
