Gujarat's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, launched by PM Narendra Modi on June 5, 2024, has driven massive environmental conservation efforts. Under CM Bhupendra Patel, the state planted 17.32 crore trees, ranking 2nd nationwide, with Kutch leading at 2.94 crore trees despite its dry terrain.
