With Navsari’s growing population, pressure on water supply and drainage systems has increased significantly. Residents in the city’s outer areas have long faced problems of waterlogging and irregular water supply. To address these issues, the Navsari Municipal Corporation has launched a ₹112-crore project to develop a new water supply system and modern drainage network. Under the project, old pipelines are being replaced with advanced infrastructure, aimed at ensuring smooth water distribution and providing relief from waterlogging, especially during the monsoon. The project is being executed in a phased manner across several outer areas of the city. Work is progressing as per schedule, and residents are expected to see visible improvements in the coming months. This infrastructure upgrade will strengthen essential civic services and marks a key step towards making Navsari a cleaner, safer and more modern city.
