Gujarat govt organises Nari Shakti Vandan programme in Patan

Patan (Gujarat), March 6, (ANI): Gujarat government on March 06 organised Nari Shakti Vandan programme at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat university in Gujarat’s Patan. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed the program. In the virtual presence of PM Modi, assistance worth Rs 250 crore was provided to more than 1 lakh 30 thousand women of more than 13,000 self-help groups. “ The initiative has helped in generating self confidence among the women… My group is saven months old… I received a loan of 1.5 lacs for start-up from the government,” said a Beneficiary. “When I started I saved only Rs 100… We had a turnover of 5.5 lacs in last 8 months, we are happy, we are happy… we thank the central and state government for the initiative,” said another Beneficiary.
