Nagpur (Maharashtra), November 14 (ANI): While speaking to ANI on stubble burning, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed that the Bitumen, Bio-CNG, and LNG are being made from stubble. Furthermore, he added that 185 projects have been started in Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh for the production of CNG and LNG. He said, “Ethanol, Bio-Bitumen, and Aviation Fuel are being produced in Panipat. The government is trying to speed it up. Gradually the prices of stubble will increase and there will be a good market for stubble and the problem of stubble burning will also be solved...When I was in Punjab, I suggested to them that a policy should be made and farmers should be included to convert it (stubble) from waste to wealth.”
