German Chancellor likely to visit India for bilateral meetings on margins of G20: German Consul

Kolkata, August 15 (ANI): Speaking to ANI, Consul General of Germany Manfred Auster said that the motto of G20 is a good one and they are seeing enormous efforts being put into the organisation of the meetings. Adding further, he said that German chancellor will be in India for the third time this year to have bilateral meetings again also on the margins of the G20. He said, “On behalf of Germany, its people and my staff here in Kolkata, all the best on Independence Day... The motto of G20 is a good one and we are seeing enormous efforts being put into the organisation of the meetings. Now the Summit is coming up soon, and my chancellor will be in India for the third time this year. They will have bilateral meetings again also on the margins of the G20. I think that shows the importance Germany attaches to India in its capacity as a G20 President but also beyond.”
