G20 Summit: Delhi luxury hotel gears up, 120 chefs at work to prepare fusion menu

New Delhi, August 31 (ANI): The National Capital will soon turn host to the much anticipated G20 Summit. No stone is being left unturned to prepare Delhi for the upcoming event. The international guests are set to arrive soon, staff of luxury hotels is working tirelessly to ensure their stay is ‘homely’. Special attention is being given to the cuisine, with over 120 chefs working at the Taj Hotel alone. A menu with over 500 dishes is being prepared with a number of fusion dishes. The Taj has added some millet-based dishes to the menu in line with 2023 being International Year of Millets. Over 30 luxury hotels will host the delegates during the course of the Summit in Delhi. Notably, the summit will be held on Sept 09 and Sept 10. India's presidency of the G-20 began on 1 December 2022 when it took over from Indonesia in Bali.
