From Goggle Switch to bashing Pakistan, How EAM Jaishankar behaved as a “civil person” at SCO Summit

New Delhi, October 17 (ANI): In a historic visit to Pakistan in last 9 years, EAM Jaishankar reached Islamabad on Oct 15 to attend the SCO summit. Within minutes of his entry into Pakistan, Jaishankar left his aura with his iconic ‘goggle switch’ at Islamabad airport. Along with his iconic goggle switch, Jaishankar's morning walk and sapling planting took the internet by storm. Jaishankar was among nearly dozen leaders participating in the summit in Islamabad, which culminated with main event on Oct 16. Pak PM Sharif & EAM Jaishankar shook hands and briefly exchanged while Sharif welcomed SCO leaders to a dinner. On Oct 16, EAM Jaishankar delivered India’s national statement at SCO summit hitting out at Pakistan over terrorism. During his address, Jaishankar talked tough against terrorism and extremism and highlighted the primary goals of SCO. The Indian External Affairs Minister also appealed to the SCO to take a firm stance to counter ‘three evils’. Showing mirror to Pak in its backyard, Jaishankar departed for India after culmination of 23rd meeting of SCO Council Heads of Govt.
