Paris (France), July 26 (ANI): After years of preparation, the opening ceremony of 2024 Paris Olympics is finally set to take place on July 26. Ahead of the opening ceremony, Arson attacks and other “malicious acts” have hit France’s rail network. The overnight disruptions have hit the transport system, the country’s national rail operator said on Friday. French railway operator SNCF reported acts of vandalism on several of its high-speed train routes, DW said. The railway authorities urged all travellers to postpone their journeys as repair work was underway. Thousands of passengers were stuck at railway stations in Paris on July 26 after saboteurs attacked train network. The attacks made it tougher for people travelling to and from Paris and the stations were packed with passengers. Many were preparing to go off on their summer holidays and some had already been waiting several hours.
