Alwar (Rajasthan) July 21 (ANI): Several train accidents have been reported across India in a single week. The train derailment incidents have claimed numerous lives and rendered many injured. In a fresh incident, 7 coaches of a goods train derailed in UP’s Amroha on July 20. Meanwhile, even before the restoration work in Amroha, 3 wagons of a goods train derailed in Rajasthan’s Alwar on July 21. The recurring incidents are causing serious disruptions to India’s vast rail network. Earlier, days after horrific mishap in WB’s Darjeeling, another accident took place in UP’s Gonda. Dibrugarh Express derailed on July 18 in Gonda, where 3 people were killed and at least 30 sustained injuries. Adding to the negative tally, a goods train in Gujarat’s Valsad also got derailed on July 19 affecting rail services on the route. The opposition has been raising questions with the government over back-to-back train mishaps across the nation.
