Former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair calls Aditya-L1 Mission a ‘logical step’ after Chandrayaan-3

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), August 28 (ANI): Talking about ISRO’s ‘Aditya-L1’ mission, former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair on August 28 expressed joy and called it a ‘logical step’ after Chandrayaan-3. “I'm happy to learn that Aditya-L1 launch is scheduled for September 2 from Sriharikota...This is a logical step after the Chandrayaan-3 mission, to study more about the Sun and its various phenomena happening on the solar surface and its effect on the Earth, is the goal set for the Aditya mission. A set of instruments are going to be placed in the lagrangian point, nearly 1.5 million km away from the earth and it will be continuously observing the solar surface,” said G Madhavan Nair.
