New Delhi, May 14 (ANI): Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi passed away on May 13. The 72-year-old senior BJP leader passed away at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. He was battling cancer for the last seven months. Sushil Modi had announced his treatment last month and did not participate in the Lok Sabha Election Campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences for the loss of his “valuable colleague and friend” through a post on ‘X’. Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah condoled the demise of the BJP leader through a post on ‘X’. BJP leader JP Nadda also extended his condolence for the loss through an ‘X’ post. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also expressed his grief on the loss in an ‘X’ post.
