New Delhi, January 17 (ANI): Iran’s multiple strikes on Pakistan have brought severe disgrace to the ‘terror epicenter nation’. The drone and missile attacks on terrorist group Jaish al-Adl HQ in Balochistan on Jan 16 were termed as ‘great & courageous move’ by former Afghanistan Vice President Amrullah Saleh. Taking to ‘X’, Saleh mocked Pakistan for getting “kicked from all sides” despite being a nuclear power. He recalled his “famous encounter” with former Pak Prez Pervez Musharraf and his “Banana Republic” remark. Reminding of strikes on Pak from all sides, including India’s surgical strike on Balakot in 2019, Saleh explained his version of “Banana Republic”. Notably, Pak has witnessed numerous attacks in past few years as part of stern reply for its abhorrent terrorist activities. The Balakot airstrikes were carried out on Feb 26, 2019, by IAF after the Pulwama terror attack in JK on Feb 14, 2019. The Pak called the Iranian attack an “unprovoked violation” of its airspace and “completely unacceptable”. Later, Islamabad expelled Iranian ambassador and recalled its envoy from Tehran. It also suspended all high-level visits that were ongoing or were planned between the two nations in coming days.
