Srinagar (J&K), January 19 (ANI): Tariq Ahmad Patloo, a social activist, is leading the charge in developing the inaugural floating fire emergency services for Dal Lake. This visionary project addresses the critical need for efficient disaster response, particularly in light of recurrent fire incidents. Inspired by their first floating ambulance success, Patloo’s team worked on realising this innovative fire service. The initiative received widespread community support, with donations flooding in to ensure the project’s timely completion. Upon its completion, the floating fire emergency boat is poised to revolutionise disaster response. This visionary endeavour represents a pivotal step in preserving the unique floating life culture that has flourished for centuries.
