Srinagar (J&K), December 28 (ANI): Despite severe cold, determined young girls exhibited their athletic talents in a Rugby Championship organised under the ‘Khelo India’ program. The event, orchestrated by the Rugby Federation of Kashmir, seeks to enhance female involvement in this demanding sport within the valley. Rugby, traditionally perceived as one of the toughest and predominantly male-centric sports, witnessed a vibrant female presence in the Kashmir Valley. The Rugby Association promptly arranged a spectacular championship at the Srinagar Rugby Ground, drawing over 30 teams from Jammu and Kashmir. The Championship served as a stress reliever for the valley's youth, helping alleviate the pressures associated with academic demands.
