New Delhi August 27 (ANI): Dramatic shift in Jharkhand Politics, former CM, JMM leader Champai Soren is set to join the BJP. The announcement was made public through a post on the platform 'X' by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. Champai Soren met Home Minister Amit Shah on August 26, will officially join the party on Aug 30 in Ranchi. This move comes after Soren's ouster as CM to make way for Hemant Soren, who took over after his release from jail. Despite speculation about his political switch, Soren had earlier downplayed the rumours of him joining the BJP.
