"Every penny looted will be returned" PM Modi strongly reacts after IT recovers 200 cr from Cong’ MP

New Delhi, December 9 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Smriti Irani hit out at Congress on December 08 after crores of rupees were recovered from Congress party MP Dheeraj Kumar Sahu's premises during Income Tax raids As the raids entered the third day, Income Tax sleuths recovered more than Rs 200 crore cash from several locations in Odisha and Jharkhand. The residences of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu were also searched. Reacting to the Incident PM Modi shared a post on his X handle stating "Countrymen should look at these piles of currency notes and then hear the addresses of its (Congress) leaders on honesty. Every penny looted from people will have to be returned. This is Modi's guarantee.” "The biggest question is why Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi always speak against demonetisation. In Jharkhand, from Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu's place, Rs 200 crores were recovered. Congress, corruption, and cash are three things that move together," Anurag Thakur said during a press briefing in Delhi. Thakur further alleged that there was at least one scam reported under every Congress Prime Minister, whether it was Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi, or Indira Gandhi. Union Minister smriti Irani said, "Rs 200 crore has been recovered from the premises of their party MP Dhiraj Prasad Sahu and the counting is still going on. Mohabbat Ki Dukaan Mein Corruption Ka Karobaar Chal Raha Hai (a business of corruption is being run in Mohabbat Ki Dukaan). The Congress high command, (means) the Gandhi family, will have to tell the country that for which Congress leader of the Gandhi family he was working as an ATM”.
