Jaipur (Rajasthan), September 21 (ANI): A delegation from various districts of Rajasthan met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. During this, the members of the delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for connecting 53 dams to the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project i.e. ERCP. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that ERCP will ensure all-round development of Eastern Rajasthan. He said that this will provide a permanent solution to the irrigation and drinking water problems of the residents of 13 districts. That is why the state government is continuously demanding from the central government that ERCP should be declared a national project. If this does not happen then the state government will complete this project at its own expense. The state government has sanctioned Rs 14 thousand crore for ERCP and has started the work. He said that the welfare of the people of the state is the top priority of the state government and all measures are being taken for it.
