On October 31, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, will host the grand celebration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, with PM Narendra Modi leading the National Unity Day event. The Statue of Unity will shine with patriotic fervor as security forces perform full-dress rehearsals for the Unity Parade. Gujarat Tourism has arranged 11 dormitories for 9,000 visitors and 1,400 police personnel, ensuring comfort, safety, and hygiene. Additional facilities like registration counters, first aid, sanitation, and parking for 174 buses ensure smooth management. With dazzling lights and decorations, Ekta Nagar stands as a glowing symbol of Patel’s vision — “One India, United India.”
