New Delhi, May 8 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on May 8, while speaking in an event in Delhi University’s Gargi College, reiterated India’s stance on PoK. Jaishanakar said that after Article 370 is put at rest, now people understand the importance of and once it is in our thoughts, it will happen at some point of time. Jaishankar said, “People assumed that 370 cannot be changed, that’s something that we all hato accept. Because poltics of the day had driven it the public consciousness. Now we have changed it the entire ground situation changes. So, all I can say with respect to PoK that there is a parliament resolution. Every political party of this country is committed to ensure that PoK which is a part of India, returns to India. I didn’t used to get this question 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. It is when we have put 370 to rest, now people understand and think that PoK is also important. I think in the minds of our own people the PoK issue has come to the fore-front. Once it is in your thought the rest will happen at some point of time.”
