Ahmedabad (Gujarat), June 28 (ANI): Gujarat is redefining education by turning government schools into a first choice. Dropout rates have dramatically declined — from 20.50% to 1.07% in Classes 1–5 and from 37.22% to 2.42% in Classes 1–8. Smart classrooms with TVs, tablets, and improved infrastructure are being rolled out under the National Education Policy. The Namo Lakshmi Yojana provides ₹50,000 in financial support to girls in Classes 9–12, ensuring their continued education with dignity. Gujarat’s schools now champion inclusion, innovation, and empowerment — paving the way for a brighter, more equitable future.
