DRDO successfully tests Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile from Chandipur off the Odisha coast

New Delhi, April 18 (ANI): DRDO on April 18 conducted a successful test flight of the Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha. The missile performance was monitored by several sensors at different locations to ensure complete coverage of the flight path. The flight of the missile was also monitored from the Su-30-Mk-I aircraft of the Indian Air Force. The missile followed the desired path using waypoint navigation and demonstrated very low-altitude sea-skimming flight. DRDO’s laboratory Aeronautical Development Establishment along with other laboratories and Indian industries has developed the missile. This flight test also established the reliable performance of the indigenous propulsion system. As per the Ministry of Defence press release, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO for the successful flight test of the ITCM.
