Mumbai, April 19 (ANI): Sanjay Nirupam, who was recently expelled from the Congress party, made an appeal to the voters on April 19 as polling began for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections. He urged the public must support BJP and its alliance parties and they should not waste vote on Congress. “Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is taking place today. I would like to urge the voters to cast their vote for the BJP and its allies and to not waste their vote by voting for Congress. Congress party is just like a heritage building in Mumbai which is no longer worth staying in. Old and tired leaders of Congress are trying to save that building but they cannot change the country's situation," he said.
