‘Doing duty, as if it’s normal day’: BSF soldiers brave heat to guard Indo-Pak Border in Rajasthan

Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), May 27 (ANI): As India is reeling under severe heatwave, India’s first line of defence, BSF is braving the heat to guard the motherland. With hearts full of patriotism, BSF troops wade through the sandy terrain of Jaisalmer by foot at Indo-Pak border. Meanwhile, some BSF troops accompanied by camels beat the heat to take the vigil at the western border. To protect themselves from the heat, BSF personnel have resorted to full sleeves cloth with hats, face covers, and goggles. With weapons and eyes glued to binoculars, BSF soldiers are also patrolling through the watch tower along the international border to ward off any threat. Notably, IMD has issued a ‘red alert’ for Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and west Uttar Pradesh.
