Diwali 2023 | Ayodhya all decked up; will hold grand Deepotsav to set Guinness World Record

Ayodhya (UP), November 11 (ANI): Ayodhya is all set to hold a grand Deepotsav on Nov 11 on the eve of Diwali. A record attempt would be made with over 24 lakh diyas at 51 ghats set to illuminate the city. As part of the celebration, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path is also being decorated with different types of flowers for Deepotsav. People from different places, including tribal people from the Pakur district of Jharkhand, will witness the grand Deepotsav. Special DG Law & Order, Prashant Kumar informed that special security arrangements have been made in view of Diwali. A special chariot for Lord Rama has also been made in Ayodhya for Diwali celebrations. Quintals of sweets are being prepared for the celebrations. The Ayodhya Ram Temple is expected to be inaugurated on January 24, 2024.
