New Delhi, October 22 (ANI): India’s COAS General Upendra Dwivedi on India China Border row said that they want to go back to the status quo of April 2020. Further he added that they are trying to restore the trust and that will happen once they are able to see each other and convince and reassure each other that they are not creeping into buffer zones that have been created. Chief of Army Staff of India Army, General Upendra Dwivedi said, “We want to go back to status quo of April 2020. Thereafter we will be looking at disengagement de-escalation, normal management of LAC and this normal management of LAC won’t stop there and there are many phases in that also. As of now what has happened we are trying to restore the trust. It will get restored once we are able to see each other and we are able to convince each other, look the buffer zone which are there, which have been created, we are not creeping and both have to reassure each other. Patrolling gives you that advantage, so that’s what is something which is commencing. As we restore the trust, the other stages will also follow through soon.”
