Daman and Diu, May 5 (ANI): The development works in Daman and Diu are going on a war front under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Currently, the construction of Daman Airport is in full swing and it is expected that UT will get its airport by the end of the year. Many schemes of the Central government are being going on here with great speed, in which the airport is an important link. In Daman, work is going on continuously on road construction, school construction, hospital construction, and many other projects. Along with this, Jampore Beach’s beautification is also underway and the “Ram Setu” beachfront road, which connects Moti Daman Jetty to Jampore Beach is also being developed. Boat parking arrangements are also being made for the fishermen’s community so that the boats do not get damaged during the rainy season. This was a big demand of the fishermen community which has been suppressed for a long time. The manager of a private hotel in Daman believes that the development work in Daman is continuously increasing due to government projects, due to which more tourists have started coming to Daman. He added that people have also started having destination weddings in Daman. The way the work is going on at the airport, it seems that the airport will be operational by the end of this year, which will speed up the movement of people from all over the country.
