Mumbai, Mar 14 (ANI): Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, shared insights into the Hindenburg attack and the group's response strategies, in a candid reflection on one of the most challenging episodes in recent corporate history in question/answer round in an event on March 13 held in Mumbai.During his address, Gautam Adani remarked that the Adani group faced a significant assault from a US short seller, aimed at destabilizing the group and tarnishing India's governance practices. He added that despite these challenges, the Adani group remained resilient, protecting its reputation and staying committed to its operations. “Last year, January 24, we were subject to a massive attack by a US short seller. The objective was just not to destabilise us, but also to politically defame India's governance practices. Despite the efforts to shake our foundation, we stood firm, not just safeguarding our reputation but also ensuring we remained focused on our operations”, said Gautam Adani.
