“Department of Justice is weaponized,” Suhel Seth questions the US over Adani bribe claims

Kolkata (WB), December 2 (ANI): Business Consultant Suhel Seth on December 2, took a jibe at the United States Judicial system, over there alleged bribe claims on Gautam Adani. Following this, he alleged that the US judiciary is doing the politicization because of the success that Indians and Indian businesses have achieved. "Yesterday, Joe Biden's unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, is a travesty of the American justice system...The Department of Justice is weaponized in the United States. We saw what happened with Donald J. Trump. The same judge who indicted Donald J. Trump has now withdrawn the case. So it is an unholy mess...What have we seen with Adanis?...First, they issue a press statement that Mr Adani has been named. Then they issue another statement that their names are not there. It is clearly a politicization because of the success that Indians and Indian businesses have achieved...If the American president thinks it's unfair for his son, how can it be fair on any Indian company, be it Adani, be it anyone?...The Americans must recognize that they are actually in a banana republic with a kingdom which is falling apart, especially when they believe that justice is one of their important pillars of hope," said Suhel Seth.
