Delhi Services Minister Atishi accuses DPCC Chairman of stalling air pollution study

New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): Speaking to ANI on allegations that the DPCC chairman stopped the Delhi Government’s Real-time Source Apportionment Study, Delhi Services Minister Atishi said DPCC Chairman Ashwani Kumar without the permission of the minister and without obtaining any approval from the Cabinet, put a stop to the Cabinet’s decision of Real-time Source Apportionment Study. He said, “When winters are starting and the level of pollution is increasing day by day and the people of Delhi are going to hospitals, an official of Delhi government, DPCC Chairman Ashwani Kumar without the permission of the minister and without taking any approval from the Cabinet, put a stop to the decision of the Cabinet. Today machinery and equipment worth Rs 10 crore are lying unused because Ashwani Kumar has decided not to pay Rs 2 crore. Is Ashwani Kumar who's an electrical engineer qualified to access the study of IIT Kanpur?”
