Delhi Police arrests govt official for allegedly raping deceased friend’s daughter

New Delhi, Aug 21 (ANI): Delhi Police detained government official on Aug 21 for allegedly raping his deceased friend’s minor daughter. According to the police, the accused has been continuously assaulting the minor between Oct 2020, Feb 2021. On August 13, an FIR has been registered under the relevant sections of the IPC, POCSO Act. As per complaint, the accused sexually harassed her for several months between 2020, 2021.The minor girl disclosed that she got pregnant and was being forced to abort her pregnancy
