New Delhi, March 15 (ANI): Supreme Court rejected a curative petition filed by Manish Sisodia seeking bail in Delhi Excise Policy case. A bench of CJI Chandrachud, with justices Sanjiv Khanna, BR Gavai, SVN Bhatti dismissed the curative petition. Top Court had earlier rejected Delhi’s former Deputy CM Sisodia’s review petition on December 13, 2023. On October 30, 2023, the top Court had dismissed Sisodia’s bail plea in the excise policy irregularities case. Manish Sisodia had moved SC for bail in CBI and ED cases related to irregularities in Delhi excise policy case. On July 3, 2023, Delhi HC denied him bail in both matters being probed by the CBI and ED. In February 2023, Sisodia was arrested by CBI for alleged irregularities of now-scrapped Delhi’s new excise policy.
