Defence Minister Rajnath Singh celebrates Vijaya Dashami at Tawang War Memorial

Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh), October 24 (ANI): On the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Tawang War Memorial in Arunachal Pradesh. Rajnath Singh laid wreath at the memorial and paid tribute to the bravehearts. Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande also accompanied Defence Minister. Defence Minister performed Shastra Pooja at Tawang War Memorial.Rajnath Singh said, “I came here four years ago. But I wanted to be among the brave jawans once again on Vijaya Dashami. And extend them heartiest greetings on the occasion. I wish you and your family a Happy Vijaya Dashami. The tough situation in which you are shouldering the responsibility of guarding the country's borders, one must continue to appreciate it. I would like to tell you that the countrymen are proud of you. All of you know the importance of your uniform.”
