Bandipora (J&K), August 19 (ANI): Deputy Commissioner Manzoor Ahmad Qadri flagged off the Maha Daneshwar temple yatra, known as Chota Amarnath, from Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora on August 19. He flagged off the procession along with SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma. 100 devotees commenced their journey from the Sharda temple in Kaloosa village. Maha Daneshwar temple lies within the dense forests of Dardpora village where a naturally formed ice lingam, showered by delicate water droplets from above, graces the sacred site. This yatra involves not only paying homage at the Maha Daneshwar temple near the cave but also navigating the area’s challenging terrains.
